We thoroughly understand that good quality is the soul of an enterprise, only with good quality products, could an enterprise survive in nowadays intensely competition. Everything is negotiable but not quality. Through different tools and standard quality inspection procedure during the production (IPQC) and after the production (FQC), we ensure that "only good quality products could leave our factory".
Before the polishing process is started, inspectors would pick some basic tiles, measure their thickness and surface flatness using digital caliper and plug gage to make sure that the thickness and flatness of the basic tiles are in specs.
There are rough polishing, medium polishing and fine polishing. And between every 2 times polishing, inspectors will carefully check the
tiles, make sure that there is no any lack of polishing, corner damage, scratch or crack, impurities, stains or pinholes on the tiles under bright condition.
After the polishing processes, length, width, thickness, straightness and diagonal line would all be measured to make sure that all the dimensions are in specs. Also, the brightness would be detected to make sure that it is between 45°and 55° before nano polishing.
Before the nano polishing, 100% of the tiles would be inspected by the completed automatic laser inspection detector, detecting the curvature of the edges and the centre, also the warpage to make sure that the flatness of the tiles are in specs. If any out of the tolerance, the detector would immediately give alarm and automatically make mark on the defective tile side face.
After Nano Polishing, the brightness would be inspected again by photometer. Only tiles of exceed 90° brightness could enter into the next step. Then the workers would divide the tiles into different tonalities and make a record.
For every bath production, after the tonalities division, inspectors would pick some tiles from the same tonality to do the chromatic aberration double check, lying down some tiles together and observing the chromatic aberration within 1ms distance, should not be able to see any tonality difference.
Also, the anti-stain capability of the tiles would be sampling inspected, as below pictures, inspectors would use oily pen to draw on the tiles, wait for at least 5 minutes, after that, the inspectors should be able to rub the contamination very easily.
During the production, if any big QC problem is detected, alarm message would automatically sent to all the QC staff and plant management members as cell phone message, describing the info of the timing, station, problem and production would be stopped to avoid any more defective. Also, from time to time, sampling tiles would be sent to professional technical laboratory to inspect some more others, like water absorption, breaking strength and modulus of rupture.
